Been using a bipap for 7yrs and never had issues but now my apneas have doubled and central apneas are showing up more. Machine settings have been adjusted but nothing's changing. Has anyone dealt with this before?

@pickled_dreams44 oh dear, that's concerning. Yeah, I've heard others have experienced like tht. It can be bcs changes in your sleep apnea, weight, medications, or even the development of treatment emergent central apnea My advice is tht to see your sleep doctor ASAP for a new sleep study

A colleague of mine is int he same boat as you and he went to see his sleep doctor to check the problem. He adjusted hie pressure support and things are back to how they were before, mostly

Appreciate the insight. Looks like a new sleep study might be the next step, especially if pressure adjustments alone aren't cutting it. Hoping I can get this figured out before the nights get even longer.

Nice to hear about that sleep study, it definitely seems like a good idea to take another look at things. These changes can really catch you off guard. I hope they figure it out quickly so you can enjoy some peaceful nights again soon.

Thank you for the kind words and support. I was able to get in for the new sleep study at the start of the month. Now it is just a waiting period for the results to find out what the next steps will be.
