My friend was diagnosed with sleep apnea when she was 15.

Her doctor prescribed a BiPap machine, so she uses it every time she wants to sleep, I mean every time. And she made progress! The BiPap therapy has a real positive effect on her life.

Let’s hear your experience using this machine, is it a positive or a negative experience?

15? Really young, my dad was diagnosed when he was around 30. Anyway, that sounds amazingly positive! I hope she continues to make progress and experience no issues along the way. My dad was never prescribed or advised by the doctor of this BiPap, I sure will try to ask them about this machine. Thanks for sharing.

I use a bipap, I have central sleep apnea, my brain doesn’t tell my lungs to breathe while I’m asleep. I have a bit of obstructive sleep apnea as well. I wish I was diagnosed at 15. It wasn’t until my 30’s that I was diagnosed.

I sleep well most nights, thankful for this machine.

It's awesome to hear that your friend is improving with the BiPap! It truly can make a huge difference. I'm also using one for central sleep apnea, and honestly, I wish I had started using it sooner. My sleep has been a game changer since then. Is anyone else here using a BiPap or considering it?

yes, sleep apnea can affect people of any age, including young children. I hope your dad's getting better soon
