I was diagnosed with sleep apnea about four months ago and use a CPAP, but I need a full face mask. Ive been taping my lips, which works better and stops the drooling, but some mornings i wake up feeling bloated in a way thats different from my usual IBS symptoms. Thoughts?

The technical term is aerophagia and apart from the fit and pressure, I'd also try sleeping on the side, just so see if it helps.

Sounds like aerophagia, especially with the bloating feeling you’re describing. Taping plus higher pressure can make it worse, so it might be worth checking your pressure settings and trying more side sleeping to see if it settles down.
